Asia/Europe in Turkey..
Turkey was such a great experience. I was there for a short period of time but it was memorable and worth it. I had a travel agent pick me at the airport and I had a whole Mercedes sprinter van for myself and that was pretty cool. One thing I regret about that trip is that I was on a vegetarian diet. If you know, you know. Not eating those Kebabs and all those good meat in Istanbul has me thinking if I should go to Turkey again and I think I will. Nevertheless, the vegetarian food was awesome.
Blue mosque is the best architecture I have ever seen in my life. I enjoyed the 20-minute ferry ride that departed from the European side of Turkey and arrived on the Asian side. I was thinking that the European part would be more liberal and the Asian part would be more cultured but it was the opposite.
The best coffee in the world is Turkish Coffee. Right in front of where I was drinking coffee in Turkey, there was a statue that resembled the terrorist attack that happened a couple of years ago where some German tourists were bombed and killed. RIP.
